Fire station visits

Community groups can visit a fire station by prior arrangement.

We can make language aides and interpreters available upon request.

Please contact FRV and ask for Community Resilience to arrange.

Fire station displays

PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS, FIRE STATION DISPLAYS HAVE BEEN TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED. PLEASE REFER BACK TO THIS SECTION OF THE WEBSITE FOR UPDATES.

Want to meet our firefighters, view a fire truck up close, and learn about fire safety?

At our larger fire stations, FRV hosts demonstrations for kindergartens, pre-schools, schools and other community groups.

Firefighters cover basic fire safety and show how they use specialised rescue equipment.

These sessions are free and take one hour.

Bookings are essential as numbers are limited and demonstrations may not take place on public holidays.
