Crews swiftly contain Ringwood shed fire

Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) crews responded to several calls of a shed fire in Ringwood on Tuesday afternoon.

Crews arrived at the Warrandyte Road scene within four minutes, shortly after 3.10pm, to find the shed well alight, so the response was escalated.

FRV crews donned breathing apparatus and began attacking the shed fire as well as protecting the closely located neighbouring units and houses.

A search of the shed and neighbouring unit found no occupants were home at the time of the fire.

The fire was deemed under control within forty minutes of arrival.

The cause of the fire is not yet known but it will be investigated by FRV specialists.
