Firefighters contain Dallas house fire

At 10.59am, Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) responded to an incident on Pyalong Crescent, Dallas, after callers to Triple Zero (000) reported a house fire.

FRV firefighters arrived on scene to find the front of the single-storey, brick constructed home well involved in fire.

All occupants were safely out of the house.

Ambulance Victoria treated an individual for shock.

Firefighters aggressively attacked the fire.

The incident was deemed Under Control at 11.26am, less than 30 minutes after FRV arrived on scene.

Substantial fire damage has occurred to the front of the home, and the occupants have sourced alternative accommodation.

The cause of the blaze was an e-scooter fire.

Crews are expected to remain on scene into the afternoon to continue fire duties.
