FRV crews respond to Heidelberg Heights shed fire

Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) crews responded to several calls of a shed on fire in Heidelberg Heights this morning.

Crews arrived on scene within four minutes to find a shed fully involved in fire, spreading to a nearby camper trailer and motorbikes and also threatening a house. The response was escalated.

FRV crews donned breathing apparatus and began attacking the fire as well as protecting the exposures. As the fire generated a lot of smoke, a community advice message was published for the public to avoid the area.

There were no occupants home at the time of the fire.

The fire was Under Control at 11.21am.

The cause of the fire is not yet known but it will be investigated by FRV specialists.
