Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) congratulates Deputy Commissioner Michelle Cowling AFSM on her recognition in the Institute of Public Administration Australia (IPAA) Victoria Top 50 Women Awards, announced today.

A child has died following a house fire in Werribee overnight. Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV), supported by our CFA colleagues, were called to the address at Newbury Street just after midnight, following multiple calls to Triple Zero (000).

At 2.24pm, Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) responded to an incident on Rupicola Court, Hillside, after callers to Triple Zero (000) reported a house fire.

At 9.43pm, Fire Recue Victoria (FRV) responded to an incident on Prentice street, Brunswick after a caller to Triple Zero (000) reported a building fire.

At 2.29am, Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) was called to an incident on Hudsons Road, Spotswood after multiple callers to Triple Zero (000) reported a factory fire.

At 2.42am, Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) responded to Fitzgerald Road, Essendon, after callers to Triple Zero (000) reported a house fire.
