Fire Rescue Commission Gavin Freeman AFSM has written an open letter to the United Firefighters Union outlining concerns about communications that have, at times, moved beyond robust advocacy and healthy debate to personally target individuals within FRV.

Attributable to FRV Commissioner Gavin Freeman AFSM:

I welcome fair and legitimate scrutiny of my performance, as does my leadership team.

However, scrutiny does not extend to harassment, bullying and intimidation.

The conduct I am concerned by extends beyond any one group and affects people throughout our organisation.

Our people deserve to feel safe and be treated with dignity, professionalism and respect.
