Three people evacuate from Taylors Lakes fire

Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) received multiple calls to Triple Zero (000) reporting a car fire in Taylors Lakes early this morning.

FRV crews arrived on scene around 3.15am to find two cars in a carport fully involved in fire.

The blaze had spread to single-storey brick veneer house and was threatening the neighbouring property, so the response was upgraded.

FRV crews wearing breathing apparatus established hose lines, made access and quickly extinguished the blaze.

Firefighters contained the blaze to the structure of origin with the incident deemed under control at 3.37am.

Three people were safely evacuated.

The incident has been deemed suspicious and will be investigated by Victoria Police.

Victoria Police and Ambulance were also on scene.
