30 firefighters attack Altona North house fire

FRV responded to a house fire in Altona North just before 2am on Thursday morning.

Arriving at the Ronald Avenue residence within six minutes, FRV firefighters found a home already fully alight and confirmed no one was inside.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters worked quickly to attack the fire, stopping it from spreading to a neighbouring property.

The incident was brought under control in just under 30 minutes.

During the incident there were approximately 30 FRV firefighters on scene to attend, alongside Ambulance Victoria and Victoria Police.

The incident has been handed over to Victoria Police.
