35 FRV firefighters responded to a house fire in Caulfield East in the early hours of Monday morning, following multiple calls to Triple Zero (000) just before 1am reporting the blaze.
Crews arrived at the Dudley Street scene within six minutes to find a fire a two storey home well alight, and quickly escalated the response.
Wearing breathing apparatus firefighters attacked the blaze, bringing the incident under control within 50 minutes.
A community warning was issued due to the large amount of smoke in the area, however thankfully, no injuries were reported.
The fire has been deemed suspicious and the scene has been handed over to Victoria Police for investigation.
