Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) crews responded to a factory fire at 3.45am on Century Drive, Braeside this morning.
Firefighters arrived on the scene to find smoke and flames issuing from a 10 metre by 15 metre office area attached to a factory housing a panel beating business.
Firefighters in breathing apparatus performed an aggressive attack on the fire and were able to stop its spread to the panel beating workshop.
The fire was declared under control at 04:06am, 13 minutes after FRV crews arrived on scene.
The office area of the building has sustained significant damage in the blaze.
No persons were found to be inside the building.
The fire has been deemed suspicious.
