Braybrook house fire under control

Approximately 38 firefighters responded to a house fire in Braybrook on Friday night.

Several callers to Triple Zero (000) reported smoke and flames coming from the house on Adamson Street just after 11:30pm.

FRV firefighters arrived on scene in six minutes and quickly escalated the response.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters attacked the blaze and brought it under control in 30 minutes.

Nobody was inside at the time of the fire.

FRV crews believed the cause to be suspicious and handed the scene over to Victoria Police for further investigation.
