Braybrook house fire under control

27 FRV firefighters responded to a house fire on Alywn Circuit in Braybrook just after 11.50pm yesterday evening, after multiple calls to Triple Zero (000).

Crews arrived on scene to find the house fully ablaze.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters checked that no one was inside the property then worked quickly to contain the fire.

Multiple hose lines were required to bring the fire under control.

The fire was declared under control at 1.09am, 11 minutes after crews first arrived on scene.

Occupants of neighbouring properties were evacuated due to the amount of smoke in the area.

Thankfully, no injuries were reported.

Ambulance Victoria paramedics also attended.

The fire is being treated as suspicious and Victoria Police are investigating.
