Bungalow fire in Ivanhoe

FRV crews were called to Ivanhoe this afternoon after a bungalow caught fire at a vacant residential property.

FRV deployed seven appliances including five pumpers and a rescue unit after receiving multiple calls for a house fire in Myrtle St, Ivanhoe this afternoon at 3:45pm.

FRV crews arrived on scene in four minutes and declared the fire under control within just 10 minutes.

Crews worked to contain the blaze to a 6mx5m bungalow at the rear of the property.

Firefighters conducted an internal search of the property, and thankfully found no persons inside.

Eight FRV appliance and approximately 22 firefighters attended in total.

FRV was supported by Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria on scene.
