Crews attack backyard shed blaze in Fawkner

Firefighters responded to a shed fire in Fawkner on Friday night.

FRV crews were called to the Kensington Road incident just before 11:45 pm after a call to Triple Zero (000).

Firefighters arrived on scene to find a 15 metre x 7 metre fire in a backyard shed.

Wearing breathing apparatus, crews attacked the fire and prevented the flames from spreading to neighbouring properties with the incident declared under control at 12:15 am.

Crews remained on scene to ensure the fire was completely extinguished.  

Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria also attended the scene.
