Crews attack Williamstown house fire

FRV crews responded to multiple calls for a house fire in Osbourne St, Williamstown on Friday night. 

Thick, smoke and flames could be seen from a distance and additional appliances were dispatched. 

Crews arrived on scene shortly before 10pm, five minutes after the incident was reported.

Upon arrival crews found a single storey timber residence fully alight, with exposures on three sides.

Firefighters worked together to attack the fire, bringing it under control at 10.42pm. 

The fire was deemed suspicious and the scene was handed to Victoria Police.
