FRV crews responded to an incident in Preston after a caller to Triple Zero (000) reported a house fire at 00:01am on Sunday morning.
More than 30 firefighters arrived to the Dalgety Street scene to find a house fully alight.
Wearing breathing apparatus, crews attacked the fire to bring it under control at 00:19am.
Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria also attended the scene.
