Crews battle Truganina blaze

FRV and CFA firefighters are currently on scene in Trafford Drive, Truganina, where a fire has broken out.

Crews were initially called to a house fire at 5pm following multiple Triple Zero (000) calls.

They arrived to find the home ungulfed in flames and the fire spreading to surrounding grass.

Firefighters in breathing apparatus worked to gain the upper hand of the fire and managed to get it under control in just over 30 minutes.

A community advice message has been issued for smoke in the area.
