Wearing breathing apparatus, crews commenced an internal investigation of a three storey building on Story Street.

They were met with an extensive fire in a meeting room that was approximately 10 x 10m in size.

Firefighters contained the blaze to the room, with the second floor of the building sustaining some smoke and water damage.

The fire was declared under control just before 5am, within approximately 45 minutes of firefighters arriving on scene.
