More than 20 FRV firefighters responded to a house fire in Westmeadows on Thursday afternoon.
FRV firefighters responded to the Ardlie street incident just after 3:00pm, after callers to Triple Zero (000) reported smoke coming from a house.
Crews arrived on scene within five minutes to find a single-storey bluestone property fully involved in fire.
Crews attacked the fire externally, working with CFA firefighters, to bring the fire under control just after 3.45pm.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus conducted an internal search of the property, finding no occupants.
Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria also attended the scene.
A community advice message was issued for smoke in the nearby area.
