Crews free person trapped in car

More than 25 FRV firefighters are responding to a collision in Essendon.

Multiple callers to Triple Zero (000) reported that a car had collided with a garage just after 5.20pm on Tuesday afternoon.

Firefighters arrived at the Hoffmans Road address within seven minutes.

Upon arrival, crews found the car had driven through the garage of a brick house and was in the living room.

The driver of the vehicle, a man, was trapped.

Three passengers, all children, had exited the vehicle.

Firefighters worked together to free the driver.

Ambulance Victoria paramedics treated the driver and three passengers and transported them to hospital.

FRV crews remain on site to stablise the structure and make the scene safe.

Victoria Police also attended the scene.

A Moonee Valley Council building surveyor has also been contacted.
