More than 30 FRV firefighters responded to a shed fire in Sunshine on Thursday morning.

Several callers to Triple Zero (000) reported smoke and flames issuing from a Graham Street property shortly before 10.40am.

Crews arrived at the scene within four minutes.

Upon arrival, crews found a significant shed fire that was engulfed in fire, and had spread to an adjoining shed.

Firefighters immediately escalated the response, requesting more resources and appliances.

Wearing breathing apparatus, crews attacked the fire from the ground, while using an aerial appliance to attack if from above.

Firefighters brought the fire under control within 20 minutes of arrival, protecting neighbouring properties from the smoke and flames.

Thankfully, there were no occupants at home at the time and no injuries have been reported.

FRV will remain on scene to extinguish any hot spots and investigate the cause.
