Crews quick on scene to Sunshine West building fire

FRV responded to a large building fire in Sunshine West just after 7:30pm on Saturday evening

Crews arrived on scene within five minutes to find a disused college building fully ablaze, and discovered limited access to the grounds making firefighting operations difficult

Approximately 38 firefighters worked to attack the fire, bringing it under control by 8:07pm

Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria also assisted at the scene

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
