Crews respond to Ascot Vale apartment fire

At 7.08am, Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) responded to an incident on Morshead Street, Ascot Vale after callers to Triple Zero (000) reported a house fire.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in an apartment.

Crews donned breathing apparatus to knock down the fire and were able to contain it to a single room.

The scene was deemed Under Control at 7.43am.

All occupants were accounted for.

Ambulance Victoria and the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing were also on the scene, and power and gas companies were requested to attend.
