22 firefighters responded to a garage fire in Glen Waverley on Saturday evening.
FRV crews were called to the Kiah Street address at 8.10pm after multiple callers to Triple Zero (000) reported the incident.
Firefighters arrived on scene in five minutes to find a garage attached to a house fully alight, and quickly escalated the response.
Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters worked quickly to attack the flames, successfully containing the fire to the garage and preventing it from spreading through the home.
The incident was deemed under control at 8.45pm, 30 minutes after firefighters arrived on scene.
At the height of the incident, there were eight FRV appliances on scene, including five Pumpers and one Rescue Unit.
Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
FRV was supported by Ambulance Victoria and Victoria Police.
