At 08.57AM, Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) responded to an incident at Edgars Road, Thomastown, following multiple calls to Triple Zero (000).
FRV arrived on scene at 9.00AM to find a single storey, 15m x 15m brick veneer house fully involved in fire. The house next door was also under threat.
Firefighters attacked the fire internally with breathing apparatus.
One firefighter received burns to the leg. Ambulance Victoria is on scene assisting the firefighter.
The fire was quickly brought under control at 9.15AM.
