FRV crews were called to Villawood Avenue just after 1:45am after multiple callers to Triple Zero (000) reported smoke and flames coming from a garage.

Crews arrived on scene within six minutes to find a garage attached to a two-storey house fully alight.

Wearing breathing apparatus, crews evacuated six occupants from the residence, and one patient was transferred into the care of Ambulance Victoria paramedics.
