Fatal house fire at Lara

Firefighters were called to Lara this morning following a house fire.

Crews were called to the address in Forest Road just after 4.30am and arrived within five minutes to find the house in flames.

Firefighters from FRV and CFA worked to extinguish the blaze and conduct a search for occupants.

Sadly, two people were found deceased inside the property.

FRV fire investigators will attend the scene this morning to assist Victoria Police in their investiagtion of the incident.
