Fire at abandoned building in Ringwood

FRV firefighters are currently on scene in Ringwood where a fire has broken out at an abandoned building.

Crews were called to the Lois Street scene shortly before 3pm following multiple Triple Zero (000) calls and arrived within six minutes to find the double storey brick building in flames.

Firefighters managed to get the blaze under control in about 30 minutes.

The cause of the incident will be investigated.
