Fire crews contain Frankston garage fire

FRV crews responded to Liardet Crescent in Frankston on Tuesday afternoon, following reports of a fire shortly after 4pm. 

Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes to find a garage fully involved in the fire.

The fire was threatening to spread into the house, and FRV and CFA crews worked together to extinguish the blaze.

Thanks to the quick work of firefighters, the fire was able to be contained. 

At the height of the incident there were four firefighting appliances at the scene and one command unit.

Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria also supported FRV at the scene.
