Fire engulfs multiple sheds in Brunswick East

At 4.47pm, Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) responded to a structure fire on French Avenue, Brunswick East after callers to Triple Zero (000) reported a garage fire.

Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes to find a fire involving multiple garages.

Firefighters donned breathing apparatus to attack the fire and prevent further exposure.

Three of the four conjoined garages, on multiple properties on French Avenue and Lord Street, were impacted, but firefighters were able to prevent the fire spreading to the fourth garage.

The scene was deemed Under Control at 5.14pm.

Ambulance Victoria was also on the scene.
