Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find a small fire in the roof area of a large grain storage shed.

Crews ran hose lines to attack the fire externally and internally, and prevent the fire spreading to the rest of the building.

Thanks to the quick work of firefighters, the blaze was declared under control less than ten minutes after initial crews arrived at the scene.

At the height of the incident there were seven firefighting appliances at the scene, including one rescue and one aerial appliance, plus three additional units.

Firefighters remain on scene ensuring all hot spots are extinguished and ventilating the building.

Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria supported firefighters at the scene.
