Firefighters responded to a fire in Hightett after caller to Triple Zero (000)reported a shop fire at 7:15am on Sunday morning.
FRV crews arrived to the Highett Road scene within three minutes to find a building well alight.
The fire was brought under control just before 8:30am.
Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria are on scene.
