Firefighters attack fully involved house fire in Reservoir

Crews responded to an incident in Reservoir in the early hours of Tuesday morning after a caller to Triple Zero (000) alerted a house fire

FRV and CFA crews arrived to the Liston Av scene within 4 minutes to find a single storey weatherboard home and a shed at the rear of the property well involved in fire

Wearing breathing apparatus, over 30 firefighters worked to effectively stop the spread of the fire which were threatening neighbouring properties

Occupants of the home were evacuated safely, and firefighters brought the blaze under control within 1 hour.

Firefighters remained on scene for some time afterwards and into the morning to continue to extinguish and undertake fire duties.

Ambulance Victoria and Victoria Police were also on scene assisting with operations

FRV's Specialist Fire Investigation Unit have taken over the scene to determine the cause.
