Firefighters responded to a fire in Melton following multiple calls to Triple Zero (000) reporting smoke issuing from the roof of a house just after 11:40 am
FRV crews arrived to the Haybale Place scene in seven minutes to find a single storey house involved in flames.
Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters from FRV and CFA worked together to conduct an internal search while attacking the fire.
Thankfully no occupants were found in the home.
The incident was declared under control at 12:32 pm with the cause deemed as not suspicious.
Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria also attended the incident alongside a building surveyor and power and gas company.
