Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) responded to several Triple Zero (000) calls of a house fire in Box Hill
this morning.
Several callers stated hearing explosions, glass breaking and fire so the response was escalated.
Crews arrived on scene within five minutes to find the house fully involved in fire.
FRV crews wore breathing apparatus to attack the fire and prevent it spreading to adjoining properties.
All occupants safely evacuated and were assessed by Ambulance Victoria.
The fire was deemed under control by 4.09am.
The cause of the fire is not yet known but will be investigated by FRV specialists.
Firefighters remained on scene for some time to ensure the fire was fully extinguished.
