At 6.12AM, Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) responded to an incident following calls to Triple 000 reporting a house fire in St Albans.
FRV crews were on scene within 3 minutes to find smoke and fire issuing from the roof and threatening neighbouring properties.
The response was escalated as FRV crews, wearing breathing apparatus entered the property to extinguish the fire and search for occupants.
One occupant was treated by FRV crews and Ambulance Victoria.
The fire was deemed Under Control by 6.34AM.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
Victoria Police was on the scene assisting FRV.
