Firefighters battle Truganina grass fire

Firefighters are responding to a fire in Truganina following a call to Triple Zero (000) just after 4:52 pm.

FRV crews arrived to the Boundary Road scene to find a 100 metre by 200 metre grass fire moving in a northernly direction and immediately escalated the response.

Firefighters from FRV and CFA attacked the blaze with the incident under control at 5:23 pm.

Crews are remaining on scene to ensure the fire is fully extinguished.

Victoria Police and Ambulance are also attending the scene
