At 12.04PM, Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) responded to an incident in Bolinda Road Campbellfield, following calls to Triple Zero (000) reporting a factory fire.
Crews arrived on scene in six minutes and escalated the incident to 2nd Alarm having found a 20Mx50M brick construction factory completely involved with fire.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are undertaking firefighting activities from perimeter only due to structural integrity.
Crews have requested power and gas company to isolate services to property.
A community advice warning for Smoke in the Area has been issued.
Crews have made an impact and contained the fire to the premises.
A Building Surveyor from the City of Hume has been requested and EPA has been notified.
FRV deemed the fire Under Control at 1.02PM
The fire is being treated as suspicious.
