At 6.59AM, Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) responded to an incident in Willowherb Way Point Cook, after a caller to Triple Zero (000) reported a house fire.
Firefighters arrived on the scene in 7 minutes to find the front of the two-story house fully involved with fire.
A family of 5, including 1 adult and 4 children were alerted to the fire by a working smoke alarm and evacuated from the house.
There were multiple injuries, including a 60-year-old and a 15-year-old who received burns and suffered smoke inhalation.
Ambulance Victoria treated the family on the scene and transported them to hospital.
Crews donning breathing apparatus (BA) knocked down the fire, which was deemed Under Control at 7.35AM.
Victoria Police is on scene to support firefighting activities.
