FRV crews responded to a house fire in Mickleham following a call to Triple Zero (000) just before 7pm on Monday night.
Firefighters arrived to the Olivers Road scene in less than four minutes to find a single storey brick house well alight and immediately escalated the response.
Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters from FRV and CFA attacked the blaze externally with the incident declared under control at 7:26 pm.
Crews conducted a search of the property with no occupants found on the premises.
Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria also assisted at the scene.
