Firefighters bring Strathtulloh fire under control

At 4.48pm, Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) responded to Selbourne Street, Strathtulloh after multiple callers to Triple Zero (000) reported a house fire.

Firefighters arrived on scene to find a single storey brick house fully involved in flames.

Wearing breathing apparatus, FRV and CFA crews got to work quickly to extinguish the blaze.

The fire was declared under control at 5.33pm, however the house sustained significant damage in the fire.

One occupant of the home was assessed on scene by Ambulance Victoria paramedics

The fire has been deemed suspicious and handed over to Victoria Police for investigation.
