28 FRV firefighters responded to a house fire in Burwood East on Thursday afternoon.
Crews were called to the Loeman Court incident at approximately 1.10pm after multiple callers to Triple Zero (000) reported the blaze.
Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find smoke issuing from the roof of a two-storey brick veneer house.
Wearing breathing apparatus, crews attacked the fire, containing it to the kitchen of the home.
The fire was deemed under control at 1.30pm, with firefighters remaining on scene to ensure the site is safe.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined and thankfully, no injuries were reported.
