Firefighters contain house fire

More than 30 FRV firefighters responded to an incident in Wheelers Hill on Thursday night after a caller to Triple Zero (000) reported a house fire.

Crews arrived to the Wattleglade Crescent scene within five minutes to find a house well alight.

Wearing breathing apparatus, crews attacked the blaze to bring the fire under control within 30 minutes.

Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria also attended the scene.
