Firefighters responded to a house fire in Richmond just after 8:30 pm on Tuesday night after multiple calls to Triple Zero (000)
FRV crews arrived to the scene within five minutes to find a single storey brick house engulfed in flames.
Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters aggressively attacked the blaze, bringing the fire under control by 8:45 pm.
Thankfully all residents were accounted for and had evacuated the home safely.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation with crews remaining on scene to secure the property as the house sustained significant structural damage from the flames.
