More than 25 FRV firefighters are responding to a house fire in Reservoir.
A caller to Triple Zero (000) reported the fire just after 11.40am.
Crews arrived at the Arundel Avenue address within five minutes.
Upon arrival crews found the fire was fully involved, with flames visible on the roof of the house.
The fire had spread very close to a neighbouring property, which was also under threat.
Crews immediately escalated the response.
Wearing breathing apparatus, crews worked quickly to attack the fire, including by using aerial appliances.
Firefighters brought the fire under control at 12.15pm.
Firefighters remain on scene to fully extinguish the fire.
Several occupants of the house evacuated the property during the incident
