FRV responded to a fire in Hughesdale just after 3:30pm on Saturday afternoon, after a caller to Triple Zero (000) reported a building on fire.
24 firefighters arrived at the Warrigal road address within four minutes, to find a small warehouse, with a large amount of stored clothing, fully alight.
Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters worked to attack the fire, bringing it under control in 15 minutes.
At the height of the incident there were four pumpers, one rescue unit and one aerial unit in attendance.
Firefighters remain on scene to ensure it is safe.
Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria are on scene.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
