Firefighters extinguish Niddrie factory fire

At 2.05am, Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) responded to an incident on Keilor Road, Niddrie after callers to Triple Zero (000) reported a factory fire.

Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes to find 10m x 20m brick building fully involved.

Crews donned Breathing Apparatus (BA) and attacked the fire both externally and internally.

The scene was deemed Under Control at 2.47am.

Once the fire was extinguished, the scene was handed to Victoria Police.

The fire has been deemed suspicious.
