Firefighters extinguish Rowville house fire

Approximately 30 firefighters responded to a house fire in Rowville on Tuesday evening.

Multiple callers to Triple Zero (000) reported flames issuing from a house on Stud Road.

Crews arrived on scene within five minutes to find a single storey brick residence fully alight.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus worked to attack the flames while protecting nearby properties. The fire was brought under in 16 minutes, at 7.35pm.

All occupants had evacuated the house and were treated by Ambulance Victoria.

The fire is believed to be suspicious and the scene was handed to Victoria Police.

Power and Gas companies were also on scene assisting FRV with service isolation.
