Approximately 28 FRV firefighters responded to a house fire in Moonee Ponds on Sunday afternoon, following multiple calls to Triple Zero (000) reporting the blaze.
Crews arrived on scene within seven minutes to find a fire a single storey weatherboard home fully involved in the fire.
Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters attacked the blaze, bringing the incident under control within 30 minutes.
Fortunately, the house was unoccupied, and no injuries were reported.
Crews will remain on scene for some time to ensure the fire is completely extinguished and the area is safe.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria were also on scene assisting with operations.
