FRV crews attended a house fire in South Melbourne after multiple calls to Triple Zero (000) at 5:40 pm.
Firefighters arrived to the Coventry Street scene in just four minutes to find a two storey unit engulfed in flames.
All occupants were evacuated with three people initially treated by FRV firefighters on scene before all patients were handed into the care of Ambulance Victoria.
Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters quickly attacked the blaze, with the incident under control by 5:58 pm.
Crews will remain on scene to ensure the fire and hot spots are fully extinguished.
The cause of the fire is currently undetermined but is not believed to be suspicious at this stage.
Victoria Police and a gas company also attended on scene
